This year, Sustainable Design Summit will be taking place at the Museum of London Docklands, an award-winning charitable institution, that inspires a passion for London and learning, to over 1 million visitors a year.
The layout of the Docklands allows us to introduce a brand new Summit format that encourages even more shared discussions, exchanged ideas, and uncovered solutions.
SDS will be taking place in the Riverside, Wilberforce and Quayside rooms.
Getting there
Travelling to the London of Museum Docklands by public transport is quick and easy. As a sustainably-minded event, we encourage our delegates to utilise London’s fantastic public transport system. Below are just a few of the ways for you to get to the venue sustainably.
Tube – Canary Wharf Station is less than a ten-minute walk away from the Museum of London Docklands.
DLR – You can hop on a DLR to West India Quay which is just a two-minute walk away from the museum entrance.
Bus – There are a number of buses that you can take to the museum including the D3, D7, D8, 277, D6, 15, 115, and 135.
River – The museum is very close to the Canary Wharf Pier, where you can hop onto an MBNA Thames Clippers River Bus. These depart every 20 minutes with connections to London piers including Embankment, London Eye, Bankside, London Bridge, and Greenwich.
Ride share – If you are attending the Summit with colleagues or friends, ride sharing is a great way to arrive at SDS. There are a range of apps available in London or simply flag down a taxi.
Cycle – Cycling is always an option in London thanks to the public bicycles on offer throughout the city.

To help you with planning your stay whilst attending the Summit, we have partnered with LoveEvents to provide you with a list of hotels just a few minutes away from the Museum of London Docklands and at preferential rates.
