We ask that speakers plan to attend for the whole event (9.30am – 6.00pm).
Please let the Registration Desk know that you are a Speaker and they will have your badge ready for you. You will be able to collect your badge from 8:30 am.
We request that speakers in the main conference sessions present themselves to the technician at least 10 minutes before their session so that we can test your mic and make sure everything is working.
Professional host
We have invited a professional host to run the sessions on the Main Conference Stage, and to compere the day as a whole. We will look to the host as a neutral party across our three sectors to ensure that engagement and learning takes place in the room and out of its niche. The event aims to encourage the cross-pollination of ideas; our host will be briefed to press for the cross-sector lessons!
It’s a packed programme – the host will be running a tight ship on timings.
Structure of the summit
This one-day summit brings together the interior design community across cruise, hotels and aircraft cabin interiors – including their supply chain partners.
Main conference sessions:
These take place in the main conference room. Everyone attends the opening and closing keynotes, which take place on the main conference stage.
Breakouts:
In addition to the main conference stage, there are two breakout rooms. All sessions run for an hour. Delegates choose to attend either the main conference session, or one of the two breakouts on offer. Delegates will choose these sessions as they register for the event.
Wherever possible, the SDS team will be encouraging the seating arrangements in breakouts to support cross-sector conversations.
Sessions need to run to time!
Product Showcase:
The gallery-style product showcase display will feature 20+ sustainable products and solutions. This will be set up in the Riverside Room where all of the networking and catering will take place. We ask for speakers to support by both visiting the showcase during the breaks and promoting to delegates.
Please encourage your network and sustainability partners to attend SDS
